Version 2.9 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our WordPress products. WizardPanel has evolved from a theme options panel into a powerful standalone framework, with all core functionality now managed independently from the design itself. This allows our designs to share the same features, updates and integrations while remaining fully interchangeable. Existing customers can now switch between designs more easily than ever, while benefiting from a more reliable, scalable and future-proof platform.

This new architecture provides the foundation for future designs, integrations and features, ensuring WizardPanel continues to grow while maintaining the stability and ease of use our customers expect.

v2.7

  • Removed CSS based heading capitalisation. Headings are now controlled entirely by their content, giving greater flexibility.
  • Implemented a function to prevent the homepage slider jumping during page load.

v2.6

  • Every main menu colour and various spacing values can now be customised using CSS variables.
  • Replaced image-based main menu icons with Font Awesome icons for improved flexibility and easier colour customisation.
  • Added highlight tag support (New / Hot) to the standard dropdown menu.
  • Standard dropdown items now display Font Awesome icons, which can be removed if preferred.
  • Completely reworked the mega menu icon system, reducing the required CSS from over 10 lines to just 3.

Version 2.0 represents the largest update in WizardPanel for WordPress history, with over a year of development dedicated to completely rebuilding the framework from the ground up. Every line of code has been rewritten to improve performance, flexibility and maintainability while introducing a huge range of new features across the theme, WizardPanel and software integrations.

Integrations
  • Completely replaced the previous WHMCS synchronisation system with a new static integration process.
  • The previous synchronisation method was removed in favour of a faster, more reliable and significantly easier to maintain solution.
  • The new integration process allows the header and footer to be re-synchronised whenever required by simply following the integration guide.
  • The WHMCS integration now operates as a child template of the WHMCS Twenty One theme, ensuring that almost all client area files are loaded directly from WHMCS for easier long-term maintenance.
  • Optional support added for replacing standard cart links with software-specific order URLs.
  • All software integration files remain completely separate from the WordPress theme, allowing the theme and integrations to be updated independently without losing customisations.
  • Added support for multiple billing platforms including WHMCS, Blesta, Clientexec & more.
